Yubatake means hot water field, located in the center of Kusatsu onsen resort in Gunma Prefecture. The onsen water here is a natural hot spring flowing from the mountain and has an abundant amount of minerals that are very good for the skin and health. This hot spring water has a temperature of up to 100 degrees Celsius, and the temperature is too high for the pipeline. So, this hot water field has the effect of cooling the water before supplying it to the surrounding onsen baths by pipeline.
Yubatake có nghĩa là ruộng nước nóng hay còn gọi là ruộng onsen, nằm ở trung tâm của Kusatsu onsen resort thuộc tỉnh Gunma. Nước onsen ở đây là suối nước nóng tự nhiên chảy từ núi ra, có lượng khoáng chất dồi dào, rất tốt cho làn da và sức khoẻ. Dòng nước này có nhiệt độ lên đến 100 độ c, nhiệt độ quá cao dẫn đến việc đưa nước vào các nhà tắm bằng đường ống rất khó khăn. Vậy nên ruộng onsen này có tác dụng làm nguội nước trước khi cung cấp cho các nhà tắm onsen xung quanh.
